Accommodations for Food Allergies
We strive to accommodate guests with food allergies whenever possible so that they can enjoy their meals. However, depending on ingredients and the nature of a given dish, we may not be able to fully accommodate guests who have multiple food allergies (generally three or more).
Please let us know any food-allergy-related requests you might have when booking your reservation (at least seven days prior to your stay). We cannot accommodate requests made after this date.
Substitute ingredients and cooking methods are at the discretion of the hotel (we do not take specific advance requests).
Upon your arrival, we will confirm any requests that have been made.
For more information on our food allergy policy, please visit:
https://yunokunitensyo.jp/dinners/allergie/
- We cannot accommodate requests based on non-allergy food preferences (such as disliking certain foods); we ask that you instead please share or trade dishes with others dining with you.
Certain allergens (such as wheat, buckwheat, soy, dairy, egg, tree nuts, seafood, or meat) may be present in stocks, extracts, binders, seasonings, processed food items, etc., that are used in dishes; due to their nature, these allergens cannot be removed from dishes. - Soy sauce and miso paste (both of which contain wheat and soybeans) are basic seasonings in Japanese cuisine, making them not feasible to substitute; we are unable to prepare equivalent made without them.
- Unlike commercially available packaged foods, the food we serve is not subject to allergy labeling requirements under the Food Labeling Act; ingredients are not listed on the menu. We are unable to offer dishes that are certified vegan or halal.
